Week 3 Term topic

Topic 
This week, we have been learning about the Olympics. We had to do an athlete with an inspirational story. It was a bit hard to find the information because I couldn't find the right websites and some where different. 

I choose Han because he is a good skier and I want to know more about skiing and hope to go skiing one day.

Olympics.

This week we have been learning about the Olympics. We had to choose a Para Olympian I chose Jason Eales he is a para shooter.

Numeracy

In numeracy this week I have been learning about fractions how to make 3 with shapes. If you had 4 shapes you would have to colour 2 shapes to make half.

Topic The 2016 Rio Olympics
This week we have been  making Olympic profiles. We  Chose an athlete and made a google drawing Showing What facts we had found out. We also chose a country that is competing in the 2016 Rio Olympics and made a google drawing too. I chose Trent Jones and U.S.A.

Writing
This week in writing I wrote a story about a fisherman on a boat. I used the picture to help me write the story. I really liked doing this I hope I do it again.

I also completed my sentence stater work. I had to think of a new way to start every sentence.

Numeracy
In numeracy this week I learnt to add and subtract using tens and ones. I also learnt my number bonds to 10. I enjoyed learning this week.

Writing
In writing this week I was writing a story about a gorilla chasing me down a long hill with its legs and knuckles.
